Hellebores are great for the winter garden. The new foliage is glossy and green, with the colour darkening off on older foliage and as the season progresses. The flowers follow through in Winter, lasting well in a vase. This range includes a variety of colours from pastels and pinks through to darker shades. It'll be a surprise as to which colours you get, we can't pick these out in advance sorry!
Hellebores are one of the delights of the cold winter months. They are perennials, mainly native to woodland edges, so they thrive in dappled shade, although some will also grow in sun and others prefer the comfort of deeper shade. Many varieties have bold evergreen leaves, some are marbled or silvery which gives them an added charm. These pretty plants bloom in winter and into early spring, when little else is about, so why not add some cheer to your garden during the long winter months?
Pot Size: 2.5 litre
Plants are shipped Monday - Wednesday to avoid the chance of parcels sitting in a courier depot over the weekend.
Depending on the number of plants you are ordering the cost of freight will vary as indicated by the shipping rates below.
- Auckland City | $12 minimum
- Middle North Island | $15 minimum
- Rest of North Island | $16 minimum
- South Island | $25 minimum
Please note... Shipping to South Island is applied as Economy by default. If you wish to upgrade your order to overnight courier, please add this to the note section of your order or get in touch with us and we will contact you with the price difference and await your confirmation.
If your order exceeds calculated shipping rates (Shipping rates are calculated to 108kg maximum = approx. 108 x 1 Litre sized plants), please contact us for assistance at hello@puririlaneaddenbrooke.co.nz to organize shipping arrangements.
Upon checking out, the freight charged is applied based on weight and your location, including rural destinations.
- All of our orders are dispatched using NZ Post which is a fully tracked service
- Our freight price is calculated by weight and volume based on pricing provided by NZ Post. For plant orders, you may wish to order the maximum number of plants that will fit in a box to make freight more cost-effective or perhaps share an order with a friend (e.g. In most cases up to 4 standard 1 Litre sized plants can fit in one of our smaller boxes and is the most cost-effective at the lowest shipping rate. However, areas such as Auckland or the Middle North Island may allow up to 12 standard 1 Litre sized plants before the next level shipping rate applied.)
- Plant orders will only be dispatched on Monday's and Tuesday's this will ensure that your order is not held in a depot over the weekend
- All parcels are set at "Authority to leave" which means if you're not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property
- Most NZ Post deliveries are a two-day service with the exception of rural and South Island delivery which may add up to two days.
