Woodlands Wonders Sowing & Potting Tin
This creative and thoughtful gardening gift makes a lovely present for a gardener who likes to grow from seed. It makes a great treat for yourself too, as it’s packed with handy essentials for seed starting – all in a beautiful reusable tin.
The tin is printed with the lovely ‘Woodland Wonders’ pattern and contains everything you need to get started with growing from seed. There’s an aluminium soil scoop, perfect for the delicate work of sowing seeds. A wooden dibblet, for even sowing of larger seeds. Seed envelopes in sturdy Kraft paper, ideal for harvesting seeds. And a pair of one-size-fits-all stretch gloves with nitrile palm and fingers, giving light protection while working with seeds and seedlings.
A beautiful new collection in the RHS Gifts for Gardeners series, the ‘Woodland Wonders’ design takes inspiration from gardeners’ increasing love for natural woodlands and for woodland gardens. Many gardeners now choose to add a woodland element to their outdoor space, however small.
The elegant pattern has been created by Burgon & Ball and incorporates specially selected eighteenth and early nineteenth century illustrations from the RHS Lindley Collections of historic botanical art. A dark green background evokes the peace of the deep forest, allowing the illustrations of berries and leaves, birds and insects to shine out.
